Yes, I love Holistic Health!

If you know me, I’m HUGE on Holistic Health. I believe that your body is designed to be great if it’s in the right environment. What I mean by that is, feeding it whole foods, nutrients, prioritizing your mental health (reducing stress levels), getting massages, fasting… I mean the list goes on.

If you want to change your life, are you willing to give up the things that made you sick?” Really think about that. When I tell people I don’t eat meat, their response is usually “I could never do that.” Like ok? When meat is the leading cause of many diseases, but let me just sssh. The girls that get it, get it. & the girls that don’t, don’t.

So many people forget that their immune system is there for a reason. If you’re feeding it crap, you’re going to get crap results. But it doesn’t stop there… it’s also your lifestyle. If you’re working a high-stress job, your body is always on fight/flight mode adding stress to your body, making your heart work 10x harder, on top of that you’re eating non-nutritional foods.

Fight or Flight mode can start as early as a newborn. “The fight or flight response is an automatic physiological reaction to an event that is perceived as stressful or frightening. The perception of threat activates the sympathetic nervous system and triggers an acute stress response that prepares the body to fight or flee.

I always say start small with small habits and work yourself up. Make a habit.

  • Less Alcohol, More Tea
  • Less Meat, More Vegetables
  • Less Salt, More Vinegar
  • Less Sugar, More Fruit
  • Less Words, More Action
  • Less Greed, More Giving
  • Less Worry, More Sleep
  • Less Anger, More Laughter

There are so many ways you can start. Research herbs. Learn more about Dr.Sebi, Queen Afua, start by swapping out toxic items for whole lively things. Examples,

  • Have a headache/stomach ache, drink peppermint tea
  • Craving “something sweet”, grab a fruit
  • Take cold showers
  • Accupuncture, Infared Saunas
  • Yoga, release the anger, tension, & trauma stored in your body.
  • Drink hot water with lemon first thing in the morning to remove mucus
  • Stop making excuses, & complaining
  • Your Gut Health! A happy gut is a happy person.
  • Meditate, Gratitiude
  • Sea Moss, Shilajit, Cymbiotika…
